Grandpa Frank Bangle‟s house right across the road from our home. Leave my Grandpa Bangle‟s home headed for Wheatland you first pass Aunt Maria Pine‟s home where she lived with her children Beulah, Hanna, Nelly, and Ernest before coming to a dead end where Arthur and Sarah Olive “Ollie” Pine lived. When they left Missouri, Arthur and Ollie Pine moved to Colton, California. My Aunt Maria visited California but she always returned home. She loved Missouri. Passing by Arthur Pine‟s place, you could see Colonel Carpenter‟s home, a very nice white house up on top of a hill and visible from far away. His son Freddy Carpenter and I went to school together at the old Pine School house.  My Aunt Dolly Mae “Mae” and Uncle Willie “Pete” Delozier and their children, Johnny and Lillie, lived about 5 miles away.
